Training Description
NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognize, evaluate, and control electrical hazards in industrial and commercial environments. Based on the latest edition of NFPA 70E, this comprehensive training emphasizes electrical safety principles, hazard identification, risk assessment, safe work practices, and OSHA compliance.
Participants will learn how to protect themselves and others from electrical hazards by applying proper planning, establishing electrically safe work conditions, selecting appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), understanding arc flash and shock hazards, and implementing lockout/tagout procedures. Through instructor-led discussions, case studies, and practical examples, participants will gain the confidence to make safer decisions while working on or around energized electrical equipment.
Upon successful completion, participants will understand the responsibilities of employers and employees under NFPA 70E and be prepared to contribute to a safer workplace.
